New Jersey Gay Marriage
The New Jersey Assembly passed a gay marriage bill today, making the Garden State the Eighth in America to grant marriage equality to same sex couples.
If Governor Chris Christie vetoes the measure within the next 45 days, advocates will have almost two years to gather the two-thirds majority needed to override his decision.
KBOO’s Zeke Harrington spoke with Evan Wolfson, founder and President of Freedom To Marry, about the new bill.
