Welcome to Black History Month. We celebrate Black excellence by discussing resolutions addressing national chaos that translates locally into an absence of hope. Fresh events are held every Thursday during the month of February.

Join host Dr. Audrey Terrell and Tina Turner-Morfitt in an motivational conversation with Cameron Whitten, CEO Brown Hope. The theme of our month-long program is “THE WORKING CLASS, THE SLEEPING GIANT AWAKENS”. We capsulize the meaning of Black History month transitioning old resolute problem-solving formulas into modern day mutual aid formulas.   Join us! We're kicking off Black History Month with a segment entitled: ‘A New Generation of Black Voices’. We invite you to participate in a meaningful discussion on developing an intergenerational justice movement that advocates the needs of our local Black community.  Find us at Oregon AFL-CIO | Feb 5 | 6pm. RSVP Here: https://events.humanitix.com/a-new-generation-of-black-voices
