This is a special episode of Playful Presence, which normally airs on the second Monday of the month from 11 pm to midnight. This episode is all about improvised poetry.
Improvisers from 2 countries create all different types of improvised poems: surreal, gibberish translation, melodramatic, etc.
All the poems are improvised, with two exceptions:
In "G-d's Forlorn Note," we use lines from Rumi poetry to inspire the improvised lines. All lines read by Taj are from Rumi.
In "The Park Bench," I added overdubbing of lines, so although the poem is improvised, the final product is edited.
