Today’s Swing’n’Country (Sat. July 15th 6-9 am) features the music of Robert Mitchum - yes, there was more from him than "Ballad of Thunder Road."  We’ll play some Robert Mitchum around 8 o’clock.  Mitchum and Dean Martin are connected - for example, they both recorded "Little Ole Wine Drinker Me."  I've provided a bonus audio clip of the two of them talking about movies, cards and drinking.

The program starts with a group of guitar-oriented tunes starting with Duane Eddie and ending with The Buckaroos.  There are a couple of trips to Mexico with Willie Nelson and friends, plus duets from Emmylou Harris & John Starling; Tammy Wynette and George Jones; Jessi Colter & Waylon Jennings; and Nanci Griffith & Guy Clark.  And much more during our three hours together.  Please give us a listen.  Thanks.
