Never-heard, newly-released original recordings from the Woodstock Festival, and exclusive KBOO interviews!

KBOO Community Radio presents a 50th Anniversary special celebrating the legendary festival known as Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace and Music, featuring classic and previously unheard recordings from the brand-new, 38-disc(!) box set Back to the Garden: The Definitive 50th Anniversary Archive. In addition, we'll feature KBOO-exclusive interviews with performers from the famous festival - including Country Joe MacDonald, the Jefferson Airplane's Jorma Kaukonen, Creedence Clearwater Revival's Stu Cook, and Portland's own Roger North and Dan Cole, members of the second day's opening act, Quill - as well as local folks sharing memories of attending the fest. Hosted by Jeff Rosenberg (of The Songcircle) with Rabia Yeaman, this four-hour special pays tribute to one of the signature events of the '60s counterculture, that continues to resonate today.
