Welcome to Progressive Voices Talk Radio, a public affairs program dedicated to highlighting critical issues and fostering community-driven solutions and actions. For nearly 12 years, we've been a beacon for progressive discourse. We began as an opinion talk show on public access TV inspired by the works of Thom Hartmann, where our original creator, a passionate advocate for change and Portland resident, set the foundation for what would become a vital platform for discussion and activism. Caleb Burns created the foundation of what we do today, when health challenges arose, the mantle was passed to Moses Ross, a seasoned political community activist and campaigner, who continues to drive our mission forward with unwavering commitment.
Recently, Moses stepped away to run for Portland City Council and has offered Sherry Morisch the opportunity to continue with the vision that PDX Progressive Talk Radio was founded to support. We are a community, a big tent of diversity and inclusion. To pass along information that helps us progress and grow as changes to the Portland horizon increase and the diversity of the city becomes a central point of commitment to what Portland as a city means to all of us and what Oregon as a state means to our place in the nation. We have a unique opportunity to offer insight into the growing awareness of the need for equity throughout all of our communities.
Our Mission
We engage with local government and political communities to discuss issues on a local, national, and global scale, with a particular focus on the pressing matters that affect Portland and the Pacific Northwest. Our goal is to illuminate the complexities of homelessness, crime, and the daily challenges faced by residents and small business owners, while also exploring potential solutions and positive community impact.

Each month, on the 4th Wednesday, we bring you the latest updates and insights from those at the forefront of change. Through thoughtful dialogue and expert interviews, we aim to keep you informed about what’s changing, what needs to change, and how you can be part of the change.
