Desiree Hellegers speaks by phone with Lexi Peterson Burge of the Vancouver-based Noble Foundation about racism at Clark College, and in Southwest Washington more broadly, and about the continued fallout from the Clark College Foundation’s lawsuit to try to keep OPB and OPB reporter Molly Solomon from gaining access to records bearing on the racial climate at Clark College and the Clark College Foundation.

Here are some links to Molly Solomon's reporting on racism at Clark College:

Correction: Desiree described Dolly England as a former member of the Washington State Commission on African Americans. The correct title of the commission is Washington State Commission on African American Affairs.   Disclosure: Desiree Hellegers teaches at WSU Vancouver.
