Matt Schumacher's new book of poetry, Ghost Town Odes, was published in October 2016 by redbat books. His previous collections include Spilling the Moon, The Fire Diaries, and favorite maritime drinking songs of the miraculous alcoholics. A graduate of the University Wisconsin-Milwaukee doctoral program in English, Iowa Writer's Workshop, and UMaine Poetry and Poetics Program, he helps edit the New Fabulist journal Phantom Drift, (a WordCraftofOregon enterprise) and lives in the Kenton neighborhood of Portland.
