Cascadia Wildlands Interview

Conservationists have challenged a proposed sale of massive log forests bordering crater lake national park. The Forest Service argues that the so-called DBug timber sale is part of a hazard reduction strategy to help preserve umpqua national forest.

Activists, however, say their reasoning is flawed, and could heavily damage the environmentally rich area.

KBOO’s Zeke Harrington spoke with Francis Eatherington, Conservation Director of Cascadia Wildlands over the proposed logging sale.
