Join us for Cascadia Coffeehouse this Friday morning as we celebrate the music of the legendary flat-picking guitarist Doc Watson, who was born 100 years ago on March 3rd. The master musician from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Deep Gap, NC continues to be a massive influence on so many musicians. We'll hear some of my favorite songs from Doc, including collaborations with David Grisman, Del McCoury, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. We'll also hear new music and favorites from Mile Twelve, Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley, Linda Thompson, Patty Griffin, Bruce Cockburn, Joan Shelley and many more.
This program is part of our "All Thrills, No Frills" membership drive, where we will be sharing special programming with you over the next few weeks.
