On this episode of the Gap, Tammy and Althea start out by discussing the recently released audit of the Portland Police Bureau. They collected and kept surveillance on protesters who participated in the 2020 racial justice protests - while those protesters weren't suspected of a crime. The info they got included information about their political views and social media accounts. We talk about data security, chilling free speech and the at least 37 surveillance technologies they're using.
Then, we ask our community about art that has made an impact on them, in honor of World Art Day.
