 In a stunning reversal of decades of dogma, Pope Benedict has declared that condoms can be used to control the transmission of HIV under certain circumstances. Specifically, if you're a male prostitute. Those Catholics who are neither male nor inclined to prostitution are still out of luck.

Still, it's good that the Pope finally admitted that condoms can be of use.
