The Gap: Does this guy know what a doctorate is? Keep on learning, I guess

Air date:

On this episode of the Gap, Tammy and Althea discuss future First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden and a recent Wall Street Journal opinion piece that argues she shouldn't call herself "Dr." In spite of well-earned criticism for being sexist and misogynistic, the editors doubled down, and now Fox News is picking apart her dissertation and calling her illiterate. Dr. Biden will be the first First Lady to keep her day job as a community college professor. Shout out to all the teachers and professors out there! You really make the world turn.

Then, we ask our listeners, what did you learn this year? Althea, for one, learned that squirrels can survive their terminal velocity, and Tammy learned resin art! We take your calls on experiences and things learned this year, big and small.

The Gap will be off next week, December 25th, but we will have a bonus episode on the website available at that time.

Thank you to our engineer, Sonia Battrell!
