The Portland Police Bureau, In collaboration with the Office of Human Relations and the Human Rights Commission, is presenting its Plan to Address Racial Profiling by Portland Police, tonight, at the King Elementary School, 740 SE 106th Ave. from 5:30-7:30 p.m.  Here's your opportunity to: Learn about the Bureau's plan to address racial profiling, Participate in small group strategy discussions, Provide feedback, and gather input. The University of Oregon's Osher Life Long Learning Institute is holding an Open House tomorrow, that's Thursday April 9th, at 3:00 PM.  Learn more about the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and upcoming spring program offerings.  At 4:00, immediately following the Open House, featured lecturer William Orr, professor emeritus of geological sciences, will talk about Biomimicry: How Human Invention Imitates Natural Forms.  The Open House and Lecture will be at 70 NW Couch.  For more information, visit or call (800) 824-2714
The Women's Resource Center at PSU is marking Sexual Assault Awareness Month with two important films on the topic tonight, at 7pm at the WRC.  Two Carol Leigh films about the sex industry and sex workers will be shown, with a discussion afterwards.  These films are especially critical during Sexual Assault awareness month.  The films are "Sex Workers Take Back the Night", and "Outlaw Poverty, Not Prostitutes".
