The city was a buzz this afternoon as an optimistic strategy for economic growth was revealed to members of our small business community.

The City of Portland held a town hall today, opening with a welcome message from Mayor Sam Adams and featured a panel of speakers that represented small business interests. The event detailed plans that include streamlining accessibility and navigation of funding for small businesses.

Buying locally and selling globally is a concept that is believed to equate to the further economic growth of Portland.Retention programs are in play to further understand the inner workings of successful businesses in the region.

Steven Pedigo from Greenlight Greater Portland eloborated more upon these programs at the town hall today.
