The Firesign Theatre humorist talks about his six decades as a writer and performer
Phil Proctor co-founded the legendary Firesign Theatre comedy troupe over 50 years ago, and has never slowed down since. Best known for his contribution to such groundbreaking albums as How Can You Be In Two Places at Once When You're Not Anywhere at All, he's also a veteran of stage and screen as well as a prolific voice actor in such animated films and TV series as Monsters Inc and Rugrats. His new memoir Where's My Fortune Cookie? recounts his madcap adventures with such entertainment legends as Henry Jaglom, Karen Black, and Orson Welles.
Phil sat down in the KBOO studios with S.W. Conser, who helped produce the Firesign Theatre radio special Talking Over Each Other III.
