Updated Thursday, August 24.

One event that came in late but that you might be interested in:

Protest Walden and Ryan in Portland
Waverley Country Club, 1100 SE Waverly

House Speaker Paul Ryan will be in Portland on Aug. 23, raising money with fellow Republicans Rep. Greg Walden (R-OR) and Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA). Milenio.org will be there and demand that US Representatives Ryan, Walden and Beutler protect DACA and Temporary Protected Status recipients and give them a green card with a pathway to Citizenship.

Wanna see into the future? Check out kboo.fm/resist/august for upcoming events.

As is customary and right, I thank Ismoon for directing the vast majority of these events to me, and I thank Joe Frazier who takes beautiful photos, including this one from the Milenio.org Food Justice event last weekend - their support makes this possible. (And Jo Ann, who is a KBOO programmer, kicks ass on a daily basis...)
