To the current regime in DC, it seems that civil liberties and due process are antiquated ideas. Tragically, this sentiment is echoed by several states introducing legislation that would severely limit rights to protest and engage in civil disobediance (see Indiana, North Dakota, and others). This sentiment furthered by Katie Frates in her Tweet last week which read, "I wonder how many #NativeNationsRise #NoDAPL I could run over before I got arrested. #getouttamyway"
In this era of unbelievable political corruption, ICE and border guards are running amuck. We wonder what the next questionable presidential edict will bring each day, and which community will be targetted next.
