The Left and Social Transformation

Guest contributor Jack Johnson and Old Mole Clayton Morgareidge take up the question of the Left's responsibility to defend the basic norms of civility and democratic politics at a time when these norms are threatened by the incoming administration and many of its supporters. Clayton makes the distinction between Democracy and Capitalism and argues that these are incompatible, since Capitalism is a form of oppression.
