The National Wildlife Federation held a news conference in Salem today. Their letter encourages Congressional legislators to sign a Republican lead bill to address the impact of global warming. The letter, known widely as the two percent solution, claims that by reducing emission levels by two percent a year until 2050, we can avert the effects of global warming.The United Nations Commission on Climate Change says that much more than two percent a year reduction is necessary.Reporter William Cromartie conducted a phone interview with the regional executive director of the National Wildlife Federation, Doug Howell.
