On Saturday the United nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released it’s new report on Global Warming.
The UN panel, which shared the Nobel Peace prize with Al Gore , said there is no doubt, Global warming is happening and  people all over the earth are feeling it’s effects.
The National Environmental Trust sponsored an action at the World Trade Center in Downtown Portland to coincide with the reports release.
Speakers at the event were  there to call on Oregonians  and their senators to help pass legislation that would reduce carbon emissions eighty  percent by the year 2050.
Kboo reporter Linda Olson-Osterlund talks with Emily Southard one of the organizers of Saturdays event.
