Conversations with authors Frances Moore Lappe, Marta Zaraska, and entrepreneur Chaunci King
On this episode we'll hear from Frances Moore Lappe, author of Diet for a Small Planet and, most recently, World Hunger: 10 Myths, an update to the classic originally written in 1986. She gets to the root causes of hunger around the world, debunking common myths that keep us from lasting solutions.

Chaunci King, founder and owner of Royalty Spirits and Miru Vodka talks about her experience as a minority business owner in the white/male dominated world of fine spirits. She also talks about her leap into becoming a business owner and how she wants to empower more women entrepreneurs to succeed.

We'll also have a conversation with Marta Zaraska, author of the book Meathooked. She unpacks the history and cultural forces surrounding meat that have made it such a popular and arguably addictive food.

Returning to the Food Show is Marisha Auerbach of Permaculture Rising to talk about what you can be preparing in the home garden this month.
