International Women's Day Episode
In recognition of International Women's Day, APA Compass features three interviews on women's issues.  Sonia Faleiro, author of Beautiful Thing, explains the culture of Bombay's Dance Bars and the recent social uprising around women's rights in India.  Professor Pinky Hota of Smith College speaks on women and violence.  Professor Patti Duncan tells us about her documentary film "Finding Face", about the rise and decline of acid violence against Cambodian women.  And also, we feature a brand new Angry APA minute from Kushlani de Soyza.

APA Compass promotes social justice, features APA arts and culture, and challenges how APAs are represented in the media. You can download podcasts of our program at kboo.fm/ApaCompass.
