Jazz In The Afternoon, from 2 to 3 p.m., Wed. Jan. 19,
will present the music
of singer, songwriter, playwright, TV Host,
and Chicago political candidate Oscar Brown, Jr. (1926-2005).
Among his notable accomplishments was his collaboration
with Max Roach and Abbey Lincoln on the 1960 musical work
"WE INSIST! Max Roach's Freedom Now Suite".
This show is dedicated to the memory of
The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
