The political challenge of obamacare
Bill Resnick talks with Gerald Friedman about the political challenge to Obamacare, but also why something like Medicare-for-all is necessary for the future. He argues that our healthcare system has become financially unsustainable because of exploding administrative costs associated with monitoring doctors and denying people healthcare. They also consider the constitutionality of Obamacare and the arguments bringing that into question.
Gerald Friedman is a University of Massachusetts economist who specializes in labor and healthcare issues.
