Portland Housing Plans Tax Give Away Areas

The Portland Housing Bureau is proposing new tax free incentives for new housing development- as long as they include some affordable housing.

According to their web site, The Housing Bureau Mission Statement is to “solve the unmet housing needs of the people of Portland”.

The Bureau has an annual budget of about a hundred million dollars.
