Former Portland resident. Sabine Milller grew up in a family that diagrammed sentences and played Scrabble at the dinner table She’s written three chapbooks: Circumference of Mercy (Mountains and Rivers Press), Branch to Finch (Ornithopter Press), and Cairns (Half Daymoon Press.)  A full-length collection called The Wind Took My Hat is due out in the fall.

Portland state  University history professor Rodney Koeneke is the author of four books of poems: Body & Glass (2018), Etruria (2014), Musee Mechanique (2006), and Rouge State (2003). Other work can be found in Chicago Review, FenceGrantaHarper’sThe NationPoetry, and elsewhere.

Mike G—the poet of steel, is one of the host of  the Tony’s open mike at the wildwood tavern. New chapbook Semantics of Brokenness & other poems. Today’s poem isn’t in that book
