On this edition of Prison Pipeline: Prison Journalism Project.
The Prison Journalism Project is an independent, national nonprofit organization that trains incarcerated writers to be journalists, and that publishes their stories so they can serve as influential voices in the broader conversation about the prison legal system across the nation and in their communities.
This week on Prison Pipeline, host Doug McVay is joined in conversation by Clare Hammoor, PhD, Director of Learning at the Prison Journalism Project. They discuss PJP's handbook “A Prison Writer’s Guide to Media Writing,” the handbook certification course, and PJP's new learning partnership with the Chicago-based nonprofit Edovo.
