Trains and Trams

Presenting, an environmental excursion by rail, the hard clickety-clack sounds of trains, the buzzing of overhead tram lines, with musical stops along the way, featuring the new composition “Stromsanger” for six voices and electromagnetic waves by Christina Kubisch, a train ride with Herbert Distel, “Different Trains” by Steve Reich and the Kronos Quartet, and a night on the Orient Express. Weather permitting, if you should die before you wake, “Maritime Rites” by Alvin Curran. All aboard!
