Graham and Ryan’s usual three-hour first-Saturday program features breakthrough music from an up and coming country artist as well as tributes to a music lover and a virtuoso singer/songwriter/lead guitarist.
Hour One features new music from Kimmi Bitter, a rising star in country music who has drawn comparisons to Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn and Nancy Sinatra.
In Hour Two, we honor Josh Gilbert who passed away last month at the young age of 45. Josh introduced Graham to country music in the late 1990s while commuting in an old MG with an old tape deck that played second hand tapes of Roger Miller, Chet Atkins, Hank Williams and Jerry Reed. Hour Two will feature tracks by these artists, other tunes Josh loved/karaoked as well as songs that some of Josh’s many friends requested for him. Happy Trails Josh!
Dickey Betts, who died in April 2024, left an extraordinary musical legacy, first with the Allman Brothers Band and then as a celebrated solo artist. Hour Three features several of his signature Allman Brothers cuts and lesser-known country-tinged solo tunes.
