The Prison Policy Initiative has released a new report on the US carceral system. Entitled Mass Incarceration: The Whole Pie 2024, the report is a massive undertaking that provides a detailed look at where and why people are locked up in the US, dispelling myths and focusing attention on serious issues. On this edition of Prison Pipeline, host Doug McVay is joined in conversation with Wanda Bertram, Communications Strategist with the Prison Policy Initiative, to discuss the findings and policy implications of Mass Incarceration: The Whole Pie 2024.
