99% of the meat and dairy products we eat in this country come from industrialized factory farms. By and large, these are terrible places for animals, and voters in some states have passed laws to make those farms a little more humane. Unfortunately, some in Congress are doing the bidding of big agriculture lobbies and trying to pass what is known as the EATS Act, which would effectively negate those state laws, and prevent others from being passed in the future. On this episode of Voices For The Animals, we'll talk with Wayne Pacelle, President of Center For A Humane Economy and Animal Wellness Action about EATS Act and what it means for animals and the safety of our food supply.
