Host Emma Lugo speaks with Pinky Stanseski about her work in a northeastern Pennsylvania community heavily dominated by institutions of incarceration and her advocacy for those incarcerated. Stanseski wrote a book “The History of Juvenile System and Civil Corruption in Pennsylvania” about 2 Pennsylvania judges who orchestrated a scheme to send children to for-profit jails in exchange for kickbacks victimizing hundreds of people in one of the worst judicial scandals in U.S. history.
