Tune in to Swing & Country this Saturday 6:00 am to 9:00 am as we pay tribute to Gram Parsons. Gram was a musical pioneer, blending country, soul, and pop into what he called "Cosmic American music." Gram's life was a roller coaster of good and bad fortune: he dropped out of Harvard, played with the Byrds, opened for his friend Keith Richard's band, the Rolling Stones, at the disastrous Altamont concert. He also introduced the music world to Emmylou Harris. All this before he passed away at the age of twenty-six, leaving an indelible mark on the music scene. Tune in Saturday as the grievous angel returns.
