On today's episode, our guest is Liz Prato, author of the new essay collection Kids in America: A Gen X Reckoning. Liz’s previous books include Volcanoes, Palm Trees, and Privilege: Essays on Hawaii, which was a New York Times Top Summer Read and a Finalist for the Oregon Book Award, and the story collection Baby’s on Fire. She also was editor for the story anthology The Night, and the Rain, and the River from Forest Avenue Press. Liz's work has appeared in dozens of magazines and journals, and was included as notable selections in Best American Sports Writing and Best American Essays 2018..
