Discussion of Kim's salon (Hairodactyl), vegan hair care, and salon segregation
I interview Portland's own, Kimberly Georgeades, owner and operator at Vegan and cruelty free Hairodactyl hair salon, a friendly, peaceful, LGBTQIA supportive and inviting salon! We discuss how Kimberly's salon got started and the evolution of vegan hair care products. Kim is also candid about her participation in Salon Segregation and we open up a discussion about this widespread and often overlooked issue. Kim shares what she plans to do to educate her self further and to make changes to her salon to be inclusive.
