Being a caregiver can be a very lonely experience. The time demands of caring for someone often means that there is little opportunity for socializing with friends, pursuing hobbies, or just enjoying some free time. In this episode we meet Nan, who has been caring for her husband for the past several years. She talks about the daily rhythms of caregiving and describes how important participating in a local caregiver support group has been to her, both as a source of valuable information and a forum where she can share her fears and frustrations with supportive and compassionate group local folks who understand.
