Today protestors at UBS headquarters blocked the entrance of the swiss bank’s local headquarters at 8am in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico.

UBS is one of a few financial institutions responsible for accelerating the financial crisis in Puerto Rico. The swiss bank had sold off many of the bond funds causing what is said to be 900 million in damages. Protesters aimed to bring attention to UBS and its practices in the island by disrupting access and operations while informing the public of said practices.

We interviewed Armado Lebron,a participant in today's action, here the interview at KBOO.FM

UBS has also been known for destroying records of orphaned assets of missing or deceased victims of the holocaust and is mentioned in the Panama Papers.
