Hi-I just wanted to touch base and give a little update from the development department. First off in case you don't know, I'm Sun Lee, KBOO's Interim Development Director. Please feel free to get in touch with me if you have questions or please comment on my blog and I'll respond.
This is the newest department at KBOO and I am working on making it a successful one. My job is to put together new revenue streams for the station as well as doing outreach into communities and co-sponsoring events. This fiscal year we are up $11,000 from last year. Thank you for all your support at our events so far and stay tuned for more exciting things. To name a few to come:

We will continue to be working on new events so stayed tuned to this blog for updates. If you are interested in the Development Committee, we meet the first Monday of each month at KBOO. We talk about fundraising ideas, events, tabling, and other ways to support KBOO Community Radio. We would love to have some people with grant writing experience to join, but everyone is welcome.
