KBOO is open to the public! To visit the station, contact your staff person or call 503-231-8032.

Thanks for coming out and making Boo Bash a great success! Sean put together a great lineup with a wide-range of music that reflects the eclectic music offerings we have at KBOO. And Jennifer was a lovely and righteous hostess. Special thanks to all the musicians and to Holocene for hosting us. We had some excellent winners of the costume contest (there were many cool costumes!) including a gal dressed up as a fortune telling crystal ball as well as the roadkill guy. Check out some photos, courtesy of Brizbomb (who was also did a super cool performance that night!)
This weekend check out our Co-Sponsored events: Junk to Funk Recycled Fashion Show Contest and Norman Solomon's talk about his film and book "War Made Easy." Next week things are a little quiet - Happy Thanksgiving - then we will be Co-Sponsoring Mindful Gifts Bazaar and a talk by author Naomi Klein. As always, the Outreach and Events page will have details.
One more thing, it seems as though the holiday season gets earlier and longer each year. Hopefully you'll all participate in Buy Nothing Day post- turkey, but after that Sustainable Business Network of Portland has launched a Buy Local Week, encouraging patronage of local businesses. KBOO even has a nice little coupon for special membership deals in the coupon book. More information available at the SBNP website.
Cheers!
