Welcome to 2018!
As KBOO's current Station Manager, I am truly looking forward to celebrating KBOO's 50th anniversary and carrying this legacy forward with all you in 2018!!!
When we are given an opportunity to share our stories, opinions, thoughts, and ideas in a meaningful manner with each other over the airwaves, not only does it increase our collective knowledge of what it means to be human, but our stories also have the potential to influence the public dialogue. This is the Power of KBOO!
I feel blessed to have been a part of this community since 2011 and am honored to become your full time Station Manager in the new year. I want to thank Gil Cardon and Mic Crenshaw for their support co-managing the station in 2017 and for their leadership.
2018 will bring a lot of opportunities for celebrations and I hope you will join us, starting on January 20th when the 50 Years of KBOO exhibit opens at the Oregon Historical Society.
I value each and every one of you and the AMAZING radio we make happen on the daily together whether we are listeners, volunteers, members, staff or a combination of it all! Thank you for being a part of this community.
May all your dreams and desires come true in 2018!
