Lifeisaparty weekend listings And IllaJ Mixtape Download!!

If you want to be on the list. email this kid at twocliche@gmail.com!

Things I am currently jocking….

1) Innovative shows... Buraka Som Sistema, the Stones Throw Showcase, Hollywood Holt, Illa J & Automaton, Massive 6: Crème de la Crème, Mercury Fashion Forecast Show, Wonderland Circus, Bridgetown Comedy Festival … all of these are bringing something to the table that is a big bang for your buck!

2) Free ish… Come to Massive at the Crown Room on Saturday before 10pm and say ‘LifeisaParty’ and get in for free! We have a whole lot planned besides a fashion show/dance party. Pipeline is also giving away free tix to the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, plus tons of other goodies – check it here - http://pdx.be/bridge-tix-0422

3) Bike porn... The Bike Porn Tour is looking for submissions. Check the link. It’s probably not what you think. Then again I have no idea what you are thinking when you hear the words ‘Bike Porn.’ http://bikeporntour.blogspot.com/2009/03/submit-to-sexiest-bike-show-in-world.html

4) This mixtape from the jiggiest of jiggy Portland MC’s, Illa J… http://tinyurl.com/d8kuko.

5) Everything that is going to be happening at Massive on Saturday at the Crown Room. Granted I jock this for personal reasons but a few of the things in store are a sequin and feather Brazilian dance troupe, local dj’s/nationally touring dj’s, a ridiculous fashion show, a PBR wheel, champagne bottle popping, a raffle, clothing giveaways, cd giveaways and even a local celebrity! Well… Possibly. Probably. Hopefully. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that the Blazers win because a lot rides on whether this person will show or not. Oh, and you can get in for free by saying ‘LifeisaParty’ at the door before 10pm.

This list is growing by leaps and bounds. Turn to the person next to you and see if they are reading the same email. If not, forward it to them and tell them to join the community.

Life is a party, everyone is just waiting to be invited.

See you all out and about!
Leigh Feldman
