Declare Your Candidacy for KBOO Board of Directors by July 30th!

We are recruiting KBOO members to run for a seat on the Board in the September elections.

KBOO MEMBERS: DECLARE YOUR CANDIDACY FOR A SEAT ON THE KBOO BOARD OF DIRECTORS!

Deadline: July 30th at 5pm.

Each September we hold our annual election to fill four three-year terms on our governing board. All KBOO members are welcome to apply.

  • Deadline to declare candidacy is Friday, July 30th at 5pm. Please email completed candidate’s statements (see attached application) to Erin Brand, erin@kboo.org, or drop off a paper copy to Erin’s mailbox at KBOO (20 SE 8th Ave.). If you have any further questions, send an email or contact volunteer coordinator Ani Haines at (503) 231-8032 x213.

 

  • Our annual membership meeting will be held Sunday, September 19th, date and time to be announced shortly. Votes will be counted and election results will be announced at the meeting.

 

An ideal person to fill a seat on the KBOO Board of Directors would have excellent communication skills, can work as a team player, and have an eagerness to be involved in making decisions that will help define the future for KBOO. We are particularly interested in applicants who have skills in the area of finance, organization building, and strategic planning.

It is paramount for any board member to be committed to KBOO's House Rules in promoting a caring and inclusive community at KBOO. KBOO's House Rules, and other documents regarding how we should treat each other at KBOO can be found as attachments to Becky's blog at: http://kboo.fm/node/18564.
