At the Ronna and Eric Hoffman Gallery at Lewis and Clark is "What is a Trade?" Artist Donald Fels collaborated with Indian sign painters to create an exhibition of large scale paintings about trade in India. The panels have all the intense colors and graphics we expect from sign painters. This particular art form is dying out as computers and inkject printing are taking over. Every piece tells a different story. Curator Linda Tesner will be my guest on KBOO tomorrow to talk about the show.
